Privacy

DaysNoAlcohol is a free, one-person project. It keeps as little as it can, shows even less, and lets you take everything with you or delete it.

What's stored

  • Your email address, name and profile photo link, from Google sign-in. The name and photo are refreshed each time you sign in.
  • The days you tick as alcohol-free. Plus your weekly goal, your timezone (so “today” is right), your leaderboard choices and nickname, and your current and longest streak.
  • Sign-in records: your name as Google provides it, and for each signed-in session your IP address and browser type, to keep the account secure.

What other people can see

Only the leaderboard, which is public: your first name and Google photo, your alcohol-free days in the last 30 days and your current streak. Never your email or calendar. In Settings you can show a nickname instead of your name and photo, or hide yourself completely, at any time.

Analytics and cookies

  • Google Analytics counts page visits. It sets cookies and sends Google your IP address and browser details. How Google uses this data.
  • Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies.
  • Cookies this site sets itself: your sign-in session, and your theme and timezone preferences. Whether the tick sound is on is kept in your browser's storage, not on our server.
  • No ads, and your days are never sold or shared.

Download or delete

In Settings you can download all your data as a JSON file, or delete your account. Deleting removes your days, settings and sign-in records straight away.
